To me, it is similar to the color found in an amethyst. The purple hue is very pretty and my daughter has indulged herself with a full set of jewelry made with the gemstone.

Tourmaline jewelry can be found online. That is how my daughter found her pieces and ordered them. It did not take her long to find websites that offered the gemstone. She has had such fun looking though the websites and picking out jewelry earrings, a necklace and bracelet all embellished with tourmaline. She is well versed in the working of the internet and needed no assistance placing the order. When the package arrived at our door step she was so thrilled.

The tourmaline jewelry looks great against my daughter's olive colored skin. Purple is her favorite color. She is able to wear the jewelry most days of the week. I think the only time I see my daughter without her tourmaline jewelry is when she showers or goes to swimming practice or a meet. It is her favorite thing!

I think my best friend’s future husband is one of the most romantic men I've ever met. They are getting married in a few months and he called me the other day to ask me if he could choose the bridal jewelry. I have to admit that it was a request that I've never heard, the man wanting to choose the bridal jewelry? Since my best friend and her husband aren't your traditional couple, I decided to ask him what he had in mind in terms of bridal jewelry.

The wedding is a black and white theme and even though the bride is wearing white, I know she wants to have black accents in either her flowers or her bridal jewelry. Personally, it's not my style, but then again, it's not my wedding. I asked her fiancée if he knew that she wanted to have bridal jewelry that had black in it, and he said that he knew it all, because she was constantly filling his ear with more wedding information than his little pea brain could handle. (His words, not mine.) He said that he knew she'd asked me to choose the jewelry, but that he felt that it would make it more than just bridal jewelry if he actually selected it for her. It would be his wedding gift to her and I couldn't help but smile at the idea.

I asked him to come over and we'd look at the bridal jewelry together, and he thought it was a great idea. I knew he wanted it to be a surprise for my best friend and since I was the one who was supposed to be taking care of it, I wanted to make sure that he was going to order bridal jewelry that had my seal of approval. A few days later he did stop in and we looked at different jewelry pieces. He wanted to order 14K & BLACK ONYX EARRINGS that he found for her at Ultra Mall whose online store can be found by visiting www.theultramall.ispeedway.com, and I happened to think that the earrings were not only beautiful, but would be perfect as bridal jewelry and the theme she'd chosen. He ordered them along with a few other pieces of bridal jewelry that all tied into the black and white theme. She's going to be so surprised when she finds out it wasn't me that chose the jewelry, but her future husband. What a wonderful guy he is.

Anastasia Is Getting A Gold Pendant For Valentine's Day

http://www.bridaljewelryinfo.com/2010/February/Anastasia-Is-Getting-A-Gold-Pendant-For-Valentines-Day.htm

My friend Steve is married to a feisty Greek woman called Anastasia. Steve is one of those smart guys with a lot of wit but not so much common sense. Steve has called me more than once in a bit of a panic over his volatile and passionate wife. Last week he called me and asked what he should get Anastasia for Valentine’s Day. He really didn’t have a clue and apparently she’s already warned him not to get her chocolate because she is on a diet. I told Steve that something like a gold pendants and jewelry earrings are traditional gifts for a man to give his wife on Valentine’s Day. He asked me if I would look online and see if I could find anything Anastasia might like. He did not give me the chance to say no before he hung up the phone.
Steve is a really sweet person so I did not have the heart to phone him back and say no even though I was quite busy. Instead I used my computer to find some gold jewelry for that wonderfully tempestuous wife of his. I soon found myself at a shopping website called Ultra Mall which is located at the website address http://theultramall.com. I quickly noticed that the Ultra Mall ecommerce store sells items like pearl necklaces, jewelry earrings and gold pendants so I decided to peruse the website in more detail. That is how I came across this Peace Sign Pendant in 14kt Gold and Black Onyx:

Peace Sign Pendant in 14kt Gold and Black Onyx

I have met Anastasia quite a few times and although she’s not that easy to get to know I’ve discovered a few things about her. For instance I know she is very left wing and extremely opinionated. That is why I think that the peace sign gold pendant will really please Anastasia. I also think the gold pendant will match with Anastasia’s clothes because she wears the color black a lot. The yellow gold setting of the gold pendant should match her gorgeous warm coloring too.
The Ultra Mall website is selling this gold pendant for forty-seven percent less than the recommended retail price, which I thought was a bargain. I called Steve back to tell him what I had found and give him the URL for the webpage where I found it. Steve loved the gold pendant as soon as he saw it. He also liked the discounted price of the gold pendant so he bought it for his wife. I am sure Anastasia will love her new gold pendant when she receives it this coming Valentine’s Day.

She Thought She'd Lost the Gold Pendant

http://www.bridaljewelryinfo.com/2010/February/She-Thought-Shed-Lost-the-Gold-Pendant.htm

A few days ago my daughter came home from school and I could tell that something was bothering her. I didn't want to ask her about it, because I knew when she was ready to talk about it, she'd tell me. Sure enough, when I was making dinner she came into the kitchen and said she had something to tell me. Then she dropped the bombshell- she'd lost my gold pendant. My first question was which gold pendant was she talking about, since I had several. Then she admitted that it was Diamond Circle Silhouette Pendant that my husband found at Ultra Mall whose online store can be found by visiting http://theultramall.ispeedway.com. For a moment I couldn't even speak. After all, her dad had given me that gold pendant not even a week before for our 25th wedding anniversary, and not only had she taken the gold pendant without asking, but she'd also lost it.

My daughter began apologizing profusely about the gold pendant and I asked her when she'd lost it and where. She said that she had the gold pendant in her room and then it just disappeared. I looked at her with disbelief. She insisted that was what happened to the gold pendant, but I didn't believe her. Since it was close to time for my husband to come home, I decided that she could be the one to tell her dad that she not only borrowed my brand new gold pendant without asking, but that she also had lost it. I also told her that she would definitely be punished, and that she would be grounded and would have to work around the house to make money to replace the gold pendant that she'd lost. I went on to tell her that her dad worked hard to be able to give that to me as an anniversary gift, and that I didn't even have it a week and she'd lost it. In fact, I'd worn the gold pendant one time, and that was the night he'd given it to me.

When her dad came home, he kissed me and before he could even speak to her, she blurted out that she'd lost the pendant and that she'd taken it without asking. He didn't say anything at first, but then began lecturing her about taking things without asking. By this point she was crying, because he'd also grounded her. He walked away and came back, with the gold pendant dangling from his fingers. He said that he'd found it laying on her dresser and figured she'd borrowed it without asking, so he took it and put it back in my jewelry box. He wanted to make her sweat and wonder what happened to it in order to teach her a lesson. All I could think about was how happy I was that the gold pendant wasn't lost after all. She was thrilled as well and I'm sure learned her lesson. Kids!

My dad for whatever reason was reluctant to spend the money and purchase one for her. It was not like he couldn't afford to buy her one, in actuality he could have gotten her several pearl necklaces, so money was not the issue.

In defiance, one year for Christmas, my mother took it upon herself to gift herself with a coveted pearl necklace. As luck would have it, my father decided it was time to get my mother the pearl necklace of her dreams. This was an interesting holiday to say the least!

Both pearl necklaces were beautifully wrapped and lovingly placed beneath the well lit Christmas tree. My dad would hand out the gifts every year. He was a proud man as he handed mom the gold wrapped box with a glistening bow. She gingerly wrapped the package with a funny look on her face. She knew what was coming and what remained unopened yet beneath the blazing tree. The rest of that Christmas Eve was memorable indeed as mom finally got not one but two exquisite pearl necklaces!

My niece was trying her best to follow the traditional adage: "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue."

She had most of those bases covered. She found an antique lace hanky that her grandmother had made many years ago. It was very pretty with pink embroidered roses. My niece had planned to carry it with the pink and cream colored roses in her bouquet. That took care of "something old." "Something new" was her simple cream colored silk wedding gown. Her fiance had taken care of "something blue" years before when he gave her a sapphire promise ring. They only thing left to cover was "something borrowed" plus she had not gotten her bridal jewelry yet.

In stepped her Aunt. I offered my niece a beautiful pair of pearl earrings to borrow for her special day. She tried the bridal jewelry on and they looked great with her dress. She graciously said yes, to the use of the bridal jewelry. Now she could relax and enjoy her day!

I am pleased to say that I have finally finished the spectacle that comprised my online shopping and I was able to easily find some great gifts online. This year one of my gifts is going to be this set of dazzling designer diamond jewelry earrings that I found online on sale for a smoking bargain for my wife! The designer diamond jewelry earrings that I found are of a magnificent cut, and they were priced at nearly half off the retail price at the awesome online store that I was able to find them on. The best part was that not only did I get free shipping, but I saved tons of money on sales tax as well. I can’t wait until she sees these two carrot designer diamond jewelry earrings that I got – they will really make her go nuts!

The website is located at http://theultramall.ispeedway.com. They have not only jewelry, but clothing, electronics, home and garden, health and fitness items, along with many other things. It's really a one-stop shop for lots of things. I found really cool, exotic looking necklaces that I had to browse around. I saw one called the Multi-Color Freshwater Pearl Necklace, Bracelet & Earring Set with14 Karat Yellow Gold Clasps *Includes 18""Chain, 7"" Bracelet and PostEarrings*. I love that it is a whole set including necklace, bracelet and earrings. The color on this set is so fabulous. The freshwater pearls vary in color from a darker brown to tan and peach. They are so gorgeous! I have many neutral colored outfits in browns and tans, that would look awesome with this set.

I love pearl necklaces of all kinds. The classic white strand of pearls is always beautiful. I have an affinity for the freshwater pearl necklaces of different colors too, though. The black pearls, brown ones, and every color in between are shiny and pretty. I have even seen pink pearls that have a beautiful opalescence. I'm always looking for different colors and styles. I have a two strand black pearl necklace that I enjoy wearing a lot. Some pearl necklaces are multi-stranded, some are just one. Others have just one pearl at the end of a strand of gold or silver. There are so many different styles to choose from.

Now I'd like this brown set to go with other outfits. I like the way the pearls go from the lighter peach color to a tan-brown and then dark brown. It is more unique than most pearl necklaces I have seen, which makes me want to own it even more. The price is just right, too. The Ultra Mall discounts all of the jewelry that they carry.

I am so excited for this coming May, for many different and amazing reasons. One, I have been long planning with my wonderful wife a vacation to Hawaii, where we will be there for ten wonderful days. We are planning on retaking our wedding vows in the water on the beach; can you imagine how pristine a memory that will be? I have some bridal jewelry that my mother gave to us as a gift, the same bridal jewelry that she wore when she got married, and the same bridal jewelry that her mother, my grandmother, wore at her wedding. I was really taken aback that mother would offer to us such a coveted family heirloom. I promised her that the bridal jewelry would be well taken care of, as this has been passed on down from generation to generation. Now, the bridal jewelry will find its way into our loving care. And one day, I hope to offer that same bridal jewelry to my daughter when her wedding day arrives! Indeed, Hawaii is going to a be a memory filled trip of a lifetime, to say the least!

My wife is one of those gorgeous people that embodies always dressing her finest wherever and whenever she attends formal events. One of the essential accessories for her attire are always designer jewelry earrings, no matter what type of formal event that we have ever gone to, be it a dance, the opera, the ballet or a dinner, you can always bet that she has designer jewelry earrings on her person. Lucky for us, she has always shopped online for the designer jewelry earrings that she wants to own and similarly, whenever I have purchased designer jewelry earrings as a gift offering to her – to show her how much I love and truly care for her because she is amazing – I like to shop online for designer jewelry earrings. The best part about online shopping, if you ask me, is that there are a myriad of different and all amazing online stores. This allows me and my wife to truly enjoy comparing different selections of designer jewelry earrings—while at the same time garnering amazing savings!

Do you ever have those months where it seems like everything is happening at once and coming at you from all directions? That is pretty much how I've felt the past week or so. My sister is getting married in about a month and I am in charge of finding bridal jewelry for the brides maids. The wedding is in black and white, with the bride wearing white and the bride’s maids wearing black. My sister wants me to try to find pearl necklaces in black, or something that will look stunning with their black dresses. In addition, dad has enlisted my help to find a gold pendant for mom for their 40th wedding anniversary which is two days before my sister’s wedding. I haven't had much luck yet with finding the gold pendant because daddy wants something specific that so far I haven't been able to find. I will though, I just hope it's in time.

Needless to say, with finding the bridal jewelry, plus everything else that is happening in my life, I've found myself a bit overwhelmed to say the least. Mom says that I'm doing it to myself, since finding the bridal jewelry shouldn't be any huge feat. She is right in the aspect that I do get overwhelmed easily when there seem to be things coming at me from all different directions, but I do want the bridal jewelry to be perfect, after all it is my sister’s wedding.

This morning I decided that I would sit down at the computer and search until I found the perfect jewelry, then get it ordered so that I could cross that one thing off my list of things to do. Next would be the gold pendant, but first things first. I felt sure it would take me forever to find something that would work with the black theme of the wedding, but surprisingly I was able to find Beautiful graduated black mother of pearl forms this single strand necklace with 14kt gold ball clasp. 18" that I found at Ultra Mall whose online store can be found by visiting www.theultramall.ispeedway.com with little searching. I called my sister to tell her about the pearl necklaces I'd found, and she told me to order them. She is going to give the bridal jewelry to the bride’s maids as a gift, so that they will have them to wear after the wedding. One thing down, thousands more to go. Ok, it's not that bad really, it just seems like it.

My fiancé and I were very stressed out trying to find the perfect wedding dress, and gold pendant and jewelry earrings that would match her custom diamond engagement ring. Shop after shop, for what seemed like years and still no luck on either one. I was just messing around one Saturday morning looking online for a wedding planner, when I happened to come across a designer of wedding dresses that sells them for awesome prices. My fiancé was beside herself with happiness due to the selection and quality of the dresses. We also found bridal jewelry at crazy low prices. We searched and researched the subject and businesses that offer dresses and bridal jewelry until we found the perfect dress and wedding ring. The wedding ring we selected was going to go with the engagement ring perfectly, thank you lord!

The wedding was beautiful. The brides maids gowns were stunning, and shipped to us from a wonderful little shop in Italy. The ring was shipped from a custom jeweler in India, absolutely stunning! I will never forget this whole experience, and the tears of joy in my new wife’s eyes.

Passing Down Bridal Jewelry in Tough Times

A friend I grew up with popped the question to his girlfriend a few months back. They have been since busy planning the wedding looking for no real outside help. The bride’s side of the family lives outside the country and unfortunately does not have the best relationship with their daughter. That being said, they aren’t offering any kind of help for the wedding, which is fine because the couple wanted to do it all on their own in the first place.

My friend’s parents want nothing more then to help out. Being given limited control of how the wedding is going to happen, his mom offered up some of her bridal jewelry to the fiancé. She has been shopping for bridal jewelry online but the price of free is hard to resist. I think she is going to use a blending of the pieces his mom is lending and a couple she finds online. The invitations have been sent so it looks like they have it all figured out. Buying the last pieces of bridal jewelry, booking the rooms and coordinating the ceremony are the last pieces on their to-do list.

Last summer my mom was swimming while on vacation and she lost her favorite gold pendant that my sister and I had given her several years ago for Christmas. I remember when the phone rang and mom was crying on the other end, I thought for sure that something horrible had happened to them on their vacation until she told me that she was swimming in the ocean and lost the gold pendant. I was so relieved that it wasn't anything serious, but to mom losing the gold pendant was major. She apologized profusely and said that she'd meant to take off the gold pendant when she went swimming but she forgot about it. Then her chain got caught on something and broke. She was able to catch the chain before it sank to the bottom of the ocean, but the gold pendant wasn't so lucky. Mom went on to say that her vacation was ruined because she was so upset about the gold pendant. I had to give her a little kick in the pants so to speak by telling her that her vacation wasn't ruined and that she'd better get out there and have a good time or else. She did enjoy the rest of her trip, but she still talks about how she can't believe that she lost the gold pendant.

After all this happened, I suggested to my sister that we buy mom another gold pendant for her birthday this year to replace the one she lost. I knew that we wouldn't be able to find the exact pendant, but I was hoping that we could find something similar. My sister is extremely busy with work and her children, so she asked if I could take a look around for a pendant and see what I could come up with. I was more than happy to do so. After quite a bit of searching for the perfect gold pendant, I found 14K Yellow Gold and Black Onyx & Diamond Heart Pendant that I found at Ultra Mall who can be found online by visiting www.theultramall.ispeedway.com. The thing that I loved most about this pendant, is that it was so similar to the one she lost you can barely notice any difference. Hopefully over time she will forget she even lost the original.. As soon as I found the gold pendant, I called my sister to tell her about it and she gave me the go ahead to order it. We received it quickly and now all we have to do is wrap in and wait for her birthday.
